Clementine House

You've just stepped off the bus in a new city, ready to start a new life. The eleven stories of Clementine House - your home and workplace for the foreseeable future - rise above the rooftops of the dense, lively neighborhood that surround it. 

In this game, you'll keep a journal as you meet the tenants of Clementine House, solve their problems, explore the city, and uncover the building's secrets. A dark entity is said to lurk within, offering knowledge and power to those willing to pay the price. But for right now, you're just glad to have the work and a place to live, or a place to start over. 

By working through a series of instructions, you will craft a unique story, build a lived-in world, and fill it with interesting characters:

• Investigations:  Prompts to be answered with a written response
• Bends: Roll the dice to select one of several possible answers 
• Breaks: Step away from your writing every so often to let the stories marinate in your subconscious

Your game can be as spooky or as cozy as you want. Use this text as a jumping-off point for a series of stories, or to create a framework for an Urban Fantasy setting. Your time at Clementine House is yours to define, we just hope you enjoy your stay.
